What is Rubbish Portraits?

Rubbish Portraits is live, hand-drawn wedding and event entertainment. The perfectly imperfect experience you didn’t know you needed. Like a photo booth, but instead of a print-out, your guests leave with a one-of-a-kind 3-minute portrait drawn by me, Lucie Sheridan.

No tech, no stress…just fast, funny, proudly rubbish portraits to treasure. (And no smiling — I can’t draw teeth.)

My booth is the perfect fit for:

Bar Mitzvah’s

Award ceremonies

Team-building experiences

Weddings

Parties

Christmas parties

Festivals

Fundraisers or charity balls

Divorce parties (yep, really — it’s a thing!)

*Sorry, I don’t do kids parties. (love kids, have one, but best in quality not quantity)

Make your next event unforgettable

Whether you’re planning a wedding, throwing a birthday bash, or hosting a garden party with a twist, my live portrait booth adds instant charm (and a lot of laughter) to the day.

My concept is one-of-a-kind, and those who enter my booth get a fully immersive and intimate experience. They'll also receive an original piece of A4 artwork in a branded hard-backed envelope to take home with them.

  • "We found Lucie through Instagram and remember being so grateful we'd booked her years in advance when shortly someone else requested our date! On the day Lucie was so accommodating to our schedule. Everyone loved their souvenir of the day. So happy we did this over a photographic booth!"

    Charlotte Elizabeth

  • "If you are looking for that little extra something for you wedding or event then 100% book Lucie, we have guests from our wedding still talking about it now and they have already hung their portraits up back at home. It’s the perfect talking point, entertainment, even favour for any wedding or event. "

    Jessica Taylor

  • "Lucie's portrait booth was a huge hit at our recent University Student Event. She was so engaging with all our students who loved chatting with her. It added something unique and fun for everyone. Highly recommend."

What you get

When you hire Rubbish Portraits, you get me, Lucie, live in the flesh, sitting in my little booth, paint brushes in hand, ready to draw your guests. No tech, no trickery, no bad vibes, just proper old school in real life stuff, that gets people talking.

Guests are always surprised (and delighted) to find it’s fully human-operated, that’s kind of the magic. It’s not a photo booth. It’s not digital. It’s me, drawing fast and making people laugh. There’s nothing else like it and that’s exactly the point.

This totally unique one-of-a-kind experience is not going to disappoint, I promise. It's fun, fast and fresh!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Open to discussion! Just know that travel = time = money. My booth is flat packed so the world is my oyster!

  • I typically draw up to a 4 hour period.

  • How much does it cost?
Let’s just say I might be rubbish, but I’m not cheap.
My minimum spend is £500, and most clients invest a little more depending on the length of time and location.

I keep things simple with all-inclusive pricing, and I’ll tailor a quote to fit your event. Just drop me the details, and I’ll let you know if I’m free before I’m fully booked (which happens a lot).

  • The only logistical requirements I have are:

    • Entirely flat ground

    • And lets just say my booth is weather dependant (to play on safe side).

    • The concept works best when situated away from any live music or loud speaker, so I can chat with your guests while I draw them.
